The delegation led by Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Vijay Kale demanded that the works should be completed soon. “The riverside road was planned to ease the traffic burden on J M Road, Khandoji Baba chowk and Karve road. Part of the road has been completed but the pending road works have caused more traffic issues. The connection between Rajput slum and Mhatre bridge sections should be completed to resolve the problem,” Kale said. He said that work of metro rail is underway at Karve road which is putting pressure on the traffic. The availability of riverside road has become even more important.
