90 percenters up 43% in HSC, degree cutoffs may get steeper
PUNE: The state recorded a pass percentage of 88.41 in the higher secondary certificate (HSC) exam, the results for which were declared by the Maharashtra state board of secondary and higher secondary education on Wednesday. The pass percentage dipped by 1.09% as against last year — partly responsible for this was the almost 4% drop in the results of the minimum competency vocation course (MCVC).
