Responding to repeated complaints by female commuters, PMPML authorities have decided to launch women-friendly measures in city buses. To do this, they have decided to install CCTV cameras inside the vehicles and sensitise drivers and conductors through training programmes. While commuters have welcomed the move, they have expressed concerns about implementation saying talks about these measures have been on for years.
