The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has developed the city’s first grey water treatment plant at Sahakar Nagar, thanks to the efforts of the local corporator Aba Bagul. The grey water plant in Vasantrao Bagul Park in Sahakar Nagar will be helpful in transporting processed water to nearby Taljai hill to maintain its greenery.

The Taljai hill will get five lakh litres of water every day from the city’s first grey­water processing plant inaugurated by corporator Aba Bagul (first from right).
