PUNE: A third-party audit of street lights in the city will be conducted by Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). An experts’ body will be roped in to check the performance of the project launched in 2016 for better illumination on the roads.
When started, the project highlighted how a smart illumination control system will monitor the lux of the street lights. A lux is a unit of luminance and luminous emittance, measuring luminous flux per unit area.
