Pune: The Pune Cantonment Board’s (PCB) Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Memorial Technical School will offer five new vocational courses from the 2018-19 academic year.

This was decided at the PCB’s general body meeting on Monday. The five new courses will be on motor vehicle mechanic, civil draftsman, mechanical draftsman, plumber and computer hardware streams.

The state government recently gave its sanction to the PCB for offering these courses through the technical school. The board had sent a proposal for these courses to the government last year.
