PCMC to set up welfare centre for differently abled people in Morwadi
Pimpri Chinchwad: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) will construct a welfare centre for differently abled people.
The PCMC’s additional commissioner Pravin Ashtikar said, “It is being constructed off the Pune-Mumbai highway in Morwadi area at the cost of Rs8 crore. The five storey building will be built on a 19,284 sq ft plot. It will have a hall with the capacity of 600 people where training programmes, seminars and other activities will be conducted. The differently abled will be provided treatment through various therapies. There will also be a counselling centre for them.
