PUNE: The district administration would execute 12 highway projects stretching over 800km and requiring nearly 1,500 hectares of land within the next three months.

Pune district collector Naval Kishore Ram told TOI that several projects were pending for land acquisition and that the highway projects would be rolled out in the first phase. The district-wise progress of expansion (four- or six-lane) of the existing roads was taken up by the collector.
