National Film Archive of Indiahosted Keraleeyam a festival of award winning contemporary Malayalam films in coordination with Kerala State Chalachitra Academy for the film lovers of Pune.

The three day festival featured twelve films from a variety of genres. The eclectic section of films included National Award-winning and much-admired films like Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, Alorukkam, Otaal and Take off.

The festival aimed to open the window for cultural exchange between the states through these much-talked films. This was the ideal opportunity and sure to be a treat for students and film enthusiasts to explore the new trends in Malayalam cinema.
