Pune police to have affordable housing options

PUNE: CREDAI Pune Metro’s along with Pune police have organised a two day exhibition on Saturday and Sunday to assure affordable housing for the police department personnel. The exhibition was inaugurated on Saturday and will be on till Sunday
CREDAI Pune metro arranged this exhibition to express gratitude towards 25000 dedicated police personnel in Pune at the Pune Police parade ground at Shivajinagar in which nearly 45 stalls of Pune’s top developers are participating to ensure dedicated affordable housing projects for police personnel. Showcasing many affordable housing options, the exhibition will have 45 stalls from various builders of the city under one roof. Also, as a special gesture entirely at the behest of the police Commissionerate a special limited period discount has been kept for police personnel. CREDAI Pune Metro has made a mandatory Scheme of ‘No Stamp Duty’ to all the participants/ Exhibitors on booking and registration of agreement to sale, done on or before March 25, 2018. Home buyers can avail exemption of stamp duty from the builders under this offer.
This exhibition was inaugurated by Sanjay Kumar, Additional Director General of Police (Crime Investigation Department) while Ravindra Kadam, Joint Commissioner of Police gave information about finances for affordable housing in the exhibition and benefits of the Pradhan Mantari Awas Yogna (PMAY)to the police personnel.
Kumar later stated that buying a house is the least discussed issue and lack of proper guidance makes it even more difficult. “With so many options under one roof it makes it easier to decide the house best suiting the budget and such Property Exhibitions are always welcome.”
Tejaswi Satpute, additional superintendent (Pune Rural), Sheshrao Rao Suryavanshi, Deputy Commissioner (Admin), Ganesh Shinde, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone 3), Ujjwala Pingale Assistant, Commissioner (Admin), Shrikant Paranjape, President of CREDAI Pune Metro, Manis Jain, Vice President CREDAI Pune Metro, Ranjit Naiknavare, Secretary CREDAI Pune Metro, Rinku Shewani, Convener of Exhibition and Sanjay Deshpande, Managing Committee member were present on the occasion.
While joint commissioner Ravindra Kadam said that the police department is just the facilitator of the exhibition and have helped CREDAI Pune Metro provide 100% housing for their personnel. ” A funding option from GOM has been arranged at subsidised rate to fulfil this vision of housing for all for their constables and other personnel. Only after the sale of agreement is done till March 31, Police Commissionerate will sanction the loan for the house,” stated Kadam.
