Pune: The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority has sought for Rs 2,468 crore from the Centre for the first phase of the ring road project. PMRDAcommissioner Kiran Gitte said, “We can start with our Rs 330 crore and the remaining Rs 2,468 crore has been sought from the centre.” The total expense of the project is about Rs 17,000 crore, of which Rs 12,000 crore will come from the Centre.
