PUNE: Guardian minister Girish Bapat on Monday urged for a detailed study of water and parking facilities for upcoming projects under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana(PMAY) in the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) area.

“A detailed study and necessary changes in the development control (DC) rules of the PMRDA should be implemented for overall development. Infrastructure here should not be a stopgap arrangement, but a long-term plan to help citizens availing the scheme,” the minister said after launching the help desk and one-day workshop for promoting the PMAY scheme in PMRDA region.
