Sewage plants, pump houses to get solar power panels

PIMPRI CHINCHWAD: The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation plans to install solar panels at 13 sewage treatment plants and 27 pump houses at an estimated cost of Rs 75 lakh.
The work will be completed in 24 months, civic officials said, adding that the project is aimed at bringing down the power bill of the civic body.
